Arcfall

An online world of towns, caves and things that want you dead. You have been asked to help break it.

Getting in

1. Unzip the folder anywhere.
2. Double-click Play Arcfall (the one with the A on it). Windows may say it protected your PC, because the game is not signed: click More info, then Run anyway.
3. The launcher checks for a newer build and gives you a Play button.
4. Click Create account, pick a name and a password, and make a character.

Use a password you use nowhere else. This is a test server and passwords are not encrypted on the way to it.

Playing

You start on the newcomers' island with a short tutorial. At level 8 you choose a vocation (knight, paladin, sorcerer or druid) and take the boat to the mainland. Spells can be cast from the bar or by typing their words in chat.

What we need from you

• Report a bug (button on the right, under Settings): say what went wrong and what you expected. Your character, level and the spot you stand on are sent with it. Nothing is too small: a wall you walked through, a fight that felt unfair, a word that made no sense.
• Unstuck (next to it): if you are stuck somewhere you cannot walk out of, this takes you back to the temple. It does not work in the middle of a fight.
• The number beside the clock under the minimap is your ping in milliseconds. If the game feels slow, tell us what it said.

When there is a new build

Nothing to do: the launcher updates the game every time you start it, and only fetches what changed. Your account and characters live on the server.
